Park Upgrades Continue
Work on the next stage of upgrades at Warringa Crescent Reserve in Hoppers Crossing is set to begin in the coming weeks.
The second stage will deliver a new picnic area and shelter, additional bench seating, extra tree planting and garden beds, realigned footpaths to improve pedestrian access through the reserve, and a new drinking fountain that includes a dog bowl.
The works follow stage one improvements completed last year, which focused on the area around the car park.
Those upgrades included new garden beds and tree planting, updated line marking and clearer signage aimed at improving safety and accessibility.
The current project forms part of the Woodville Place Plan, adopted by Wyndham City Council in 2024.
The plan outlines a series of improvements across the Woodville precinct, including strengthening connections between Warringa Crescent Reserve and Woodville Park Shopping Centre, improving car park safety and upgrading the presentation of public spaces.
Council says the staged approach is designed to progressively upgrade the reserve while maintaining access for residents during construction.
Further details about timelines and temporary disruptions are expected to be communicated to the community once works are scheduled.
