
Police are investigating after a car crashed into the front yard of a home in Hoppers Crossing on 9 December.
It’s understood a Holden station wagon smashed into a tree in front of the home on Pannam Drive just before 11.30pm.
The driver fled the scene on foot but was located by officers nearby.
The 44-year-old Hoppers Crossing man as arrested by police.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries under police guard.
No one was home at the time of the collision.
Investigations into the exact cause of the collision is ongoing.
