
A man has been charged by the police following an incident in Point Cook on September 15th. Law enforcement officers initially noticed a lone motorcyclist on Point Cook Road around 12:05 AM and attempted to stop the vehicle. The incident also involved the Police Airwing, which may have caused some disturbance to local residents.
The motorcycle then turned onto Gramercy Boulevard nearby. Subsequently, officers found the motorcycle on the ground, and the man was allegedly seen walking away from the scene. After conducting a routine search, law enforcement officers claimed to have discovered methamphetamine and GHB in the man’s possession.
The 36-year-old Wyndham Vale man has been charged with two counts of possessing drugs classified as dependence-inducing and driving while disqualified. He was granted bail and is scheduled to appear before the Werribee Magistrates’ Court on February 5th, 2024.
