
20-Year-Old Suspect Apprehended After Stabbing on Baden Powell Drive
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged armed robbery and stabbing incident that took place in Tarneit on Thursday, July 27.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 6 pm when two youths playing basketball were approached by a group of seven to eight males on Baden Powell Drive. An altercation ensued, during which the youths sustained multiple stab wounds. The offenders quickly fled the scene after the attack.

The injured youths were taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening. Meanwhile, the suspects were last seen leaving in a dark-colored vehicle, prompting a swift investigation by law enforcement.
Thanks to the efforts of the Alliance Taskforce, a breakthrough was made in the case. Officers executed a warrant at an address on Commonwealth Drive, Aintree, resulting in the arrest of a 20-year-old man believed to be involved in the incident.
A youth was hospitalised just last month as the result of a stabbing in Tarneit.

The suspect now faces serious charges, including armed robbery, robbery, and recklessly causing serious injury. He is scheduled to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow to address these charges.
