Armed Crime Squad Appeals for Information in Tarneit Aggravated Burglary with Shots Fired

Police are seeking the public’s help in their investigation of an aggravated burglary that took place in Tarneit earlier this month. According to authorities, the incident occurred on February 17 at approximately 10:30pm on Nottingham Crescent.


The suspects, believed to be two men, forcibly entered a residential property and confronted a 33-year-old man. During the confrontation, shots were fired, with one grazing the victim’s lower body and causing a minor injury. The suspects then fled the scene by unknown means.

Police are currently working to determine the exact circumstances of the incident, but have reason to believe it was a targeted attack. They are asking for anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area on the night of the incident, or any information about the incident, to come forward.
