Suspected gunshot injuries.
Hospital staff alerted police after a man presented at the hospital with suspicious injuries early this morning.
Police attended the Werribee Mercy Hospital shortly after 12.30 am on 11 September after a man attended with what was suspected to be gunshot injuries.
The man is believed to have driven to the hospital.
Police are yet to establish how the man obtained his injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.
