Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help in the aftermath of a pair of burglaries that transpired in Little River last week.
In the initial incident, investigators believe the perpetrators forcibly entered a residence on Narraburra Road sometime between New Year’s Day and January 2. The culprits shattered a window to gain access, wreaked havoc inside the house by punching holes in the walls, and made off with keys to three trucks parked on the property.

The stolen vehicles include a white MAN prime mover with Victorian registration XV42ZX, a white DAF truck with New South Wales registration XN42YZ, and a white Volvo prime mover with Tasmanian registration C00AY. Additionally, a truck trailer with Victorian registration XV42ZX was pilfered in the process.

Detectives are exploring the possibility of a connection between this burglary and another incident during the same timeframe at a rural property on Boadles Lane. In this instance, the intruders forcibly entered the residence, rifled through the house, and absconded with a safe containing six registered firearms. The perpetrators also took the time to rummage through the fireplaces in both homes before making their escape.

Images of the stolen trucks and trailer have been released by investigators, hoping that individuals with pertinent information will come forward. The stolen firearms comprise an Emerald, Adler, and Stirling shotgun, a Sturm Ruger 22, a Norica air rifle, and a Savage rifle.
Authorities urge anyone with information or CCTV footage related to these incidents to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or submit a report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
