According to reports, four masked individuals used a metal pole and a shopping trolley to smash the glass at a shopping centre on Main Street around 12:45 am. Signage was also damaged, and red spray paint was used during the incident.
It is unclear whether any items were stolen before the offenders fled on foot. Shortly afterward, police located two boys near Boardwalk Boulevard.
The boys, a 16-year-old from Deer Park and a 15-year-old from St Albans, are expected to be interviewed by police at a later date.

In a related event, a silver 4WD was found vandalised outside the shopping centre’s car park on Main Street, with all windows and lights smashed. The words “Do drugs don’t do hugs” were spray-painted in red on the vehicle’s side.
Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the incidents are connected.
