
Ally is passionate about volunteering and helping others in the community.
For the past three years Ally has been volunteering as a junior firefighter with the Werribee Fire Brigade and is currently in training to become an operational firefighter with Wyndham Vale Fire Brigade.
Ally’s passion and drive is to help the Wyndham community by protecting lives and properties through firefighting. With her long-term ambition to train to become a paramedic.
Ally has identified a need in our community for a support group for young people and has future plans to start a support group to help young people with their mental health.
Wyndham City Mayor Cr Peter Maynard said: “Ally is a positive role model and leads by example. She dedicates her time to the Werribee CFA as well as raising much needed funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.”

One Wyndham recipients are residents aged between 12 and 25 who positively contribute to the Wyndham community and are role models to other young people.
Each month Council selects a Wyndham resident to be awarded the ‘Young Person of the Month’.
Winners are awarded a $300 gift voucher of their choice and other prizes.
