Melbourne Storm Inspires Next Generation of Rugby League Players Through Community Program and Club Visits.
Last week, players from the Melbourne Storm rugby league team made a special trip to Wyndham as part of their annual Storm in Your Club initiative. This program, which is a partnership between Storm and NRL Victoria, aims to support and promote the game by visiting local rugby league clubs across Melbourne and Geelong.
The initiative began on July 23 with players Will Warbrick and Marion Seve visiting the Truganina Rabbitohs. The Rabbitohs expressed their gratitude on social media, saying, “A huge thank you to Melbourne Storm and NRL Victoria for organizing the Storm in Your Club event.” They also highlighted the impact the visit had on the local community, stating, “The kids’ eyes lit up just seeing their heroes in person. These moments mean so much to our local rugby league community and inspire the next generation.”

Warbrick and Seve not only met with the players, but also got involved with their training, providing guidance and inspiration. The Rabbitohs emphasized the significance of their presence, saying, “Your presence and guidance mean a lot to the young players and truly inspire them.”
In addition to their visit to the Rabbitohs, Storm players were also scheduled to visit the Werribee Bears last week. And the initiative doesn’t stop there – 17 more clubs are set to receive visits from Storm players on July 29 and 30.
