Police are investigating an assault in Hoppers Crossing on Friday, 1 April.
It’s believed about five people were involved in a dispute in the Pacific Werribee car park on Heaths Road at about 9.45 pm when a 20-year-old woman and her mother were assaulted.

Bystanders at the scene also attempted to assist the mother and daughter.
The offenders then allegedly attempted to run them over as they left the scene in a car that she described as a maroon Commodore sedan. Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
