Emergency services were called to Tarneit Central Shopping Centre in Tarneit last night, October 8th, around 11:40 PM, following a deliberate car fire. The incident involved a black Holden sedan with no number plates, which had been parked on the grass near the shopping centre’s car park.
The car was intentionally set alight, and it was discovered with what appears to be the word “Black” spray-painted on the bonnet and “White” sprayed on the passenger side door. Police were the first to arrive at the scene, and they subsequently initiated an investigation. Fire Services arrived shortly afterwards to extinguish the fire.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident. The authorities are treating this case as an intentional act of arson and are actively investigating the matter. They are appealing to the public for any information that may help identify the individuals responsible for the deliberate car fire outside Tarneit Central Shopping Centre.
