Wyndham Safe Movement Committee is holding a community rally and is requesting fellow Wyndham residents and community members to join them on their mission to make Wyndham a safe place for everyone.
Part of their plan is to hold a large rally at Wyndham Village Shopping Centre today (10 April) at 12.00pm.
” In recent weeks, we have seen a disturbing escalation in criminal activity from the number of burglaries to car thefts.” a spokesperson said.
In light of such pressing matters, the dedicated group of Wyndham residents have come together to form the Wyndham Safe Movement Committee.
“We aim to raise community concerns and are requesting additional police resourcing in Wyndham”, they said.
They are also requesting the Wyndham City Council to install CCTV cameras and thereby reduce what they are calling “the cancerous crime rate”.
They say they are confident the Victorian Government will also contribute funding to install several cameras on crime frequent roads to ensure Wyndham residents stay safe.
The Wyndham Safe Movement is seeking your support to donate CCTV cameras and protect our community.
