New Operator For Grange Centre

The Grange Community Centre

In short:

One Tree Community Services has been appointed to manage The Grange Community Centre after Wyndham City Council completed a tender process following the centre’s abrupt closure in March.

New Chapter For Community Centre

The Grange Community Centre has a new manager after Wyndham City Council appointed One Tree Community Services Inc following a competitive tender process.

The appointment follows the abrupt closure of the Hoppers Crossing centre in March, which saw community groups left without a long-term operator while Council searched for a replacement.

During that period, Quantin Binnah Community Centre Inc managed the facility on an interim basis to keep it open and operating.

One Tree Community Services Inc officially took over management of the centre on 1 July 2026.

The organisation will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate room bookings and community use, and deliver a range of programs and activities aimed at creating a welcoming and inclusive space for local residents.

One Tree will also work with existing community groups using the centre to ensure a smooth transition and allow programs and activities to continue with minimal disruption.

The organisation already manages Lollypop Creek Community Centre and is a national approved provider of Early Childhood Education and Care services.

It also has experience delivering Outside School Hours Care, occasional care, vacation care and school holiday programs.

Wyndham City Council thanked Quantin Binnah Community Centre Inc for stepping in to manage The Grange Community Centre while the tender process was underway, saying its support ensured the facility remained open and accessible to the community.
