Westgate Highway Patrol Appeals for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are requesting the cooperation of the public in connection with a crash that occurred in Williams Landing yesterday.

According to reports, a car collided with a young girl who was crossing a pedestrian crossing at the point where Federation Trail intersects with Forsyth Road. The incident transpired around 3.30pm.

The nine-year-old girl from Williams Landing sustained significant injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the silver Holden Commodore involved in the incident stopped at the location.

A 42-year-old man from Werribee is presently aiding the police in their investigation.

Authorities are making an appeal to anyone who might have been a witness to the collision or could possess dashcam footage of the incident to step forward.
