Emergency services responded to a 000 call shortly before 9.30 am this morning 25th July to reports of a person hit by a car on Synnot Street.
An ambulance spokesperson said that a woman was taken to Werribee Mercy Hospital in a stable condition with lower body injuries.
The incident occurred on Synnot Street near the corner of Duncans Road and traffic was reduced to one lane as a result.
A witness said that the woman had been reversed into and was stuck under the car before emergency services arrived on the scene.
