Police and emergency services responded to a collision in Thornhill Park on 18 January.
Officers were told a silver BMW sedan collided head-on with a small Isuzu truck travelling on Mt Cottrell Road, north of the intersection of Wiltshire Road, about 10.10am.
The driver of the BMW, a 33-year-old Point Cook man, received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital via Air Ambulance.
The driver of the truck, a 72-year-old Melton man, was hospitalised with minor injuries.
The cause of the collision is unknown at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.
