Emergency services were called to Cobbledicks Ford in Mt. Cottrell yesterday afternoon after a driver became stuck in floodwaters.
The precarious flood rescue included a large team effort, with many Victorian State Emergency Service (VICSES) crews supporting Victoria Police.
The VICSES Land Based Swift Water Rescue crews assisted from the ground as the Victoria Police Airwing winched the driver to safety.
As a result of the rescue yesterday, the VICSES has issued a  reminder ahead of a likely wet spring to never attempt to drive through floodwater.
There have been many rescues at Cobbledicks Ford. This one took place in October 2020.
