Three teenagers have been charged following an arrest in Manor Lakes today (6 February).
At approximately 8am police observed an allegedly stolen grey Audi in Black Forest Road, Wyndham Vale.
Police initiated a pursuit and stop sticks were deployed resulting in the stolen vehicle tyres being shredded as it continued to travel along Greens Road before colliding with a police vehicle.
The occupants were arrested a short time later nearby. Two 16-year-old males from Wyndham Vale were charged with theft of motor vehicle and bailed to appear at a children’s court in April.
A 14-year-old Wyndham Vale male has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving whilst pursued by police, offences against the bail act and is likely to be remanded.
