One eyewitness reported that one of the detained youths was allegedly knocked unconscious by the police. Wyndham TV contacted Ambulance Victoria for a response, but they advised no incident matched that description.

While some criticized the police actions, others praised the response. One witness commented, “I watched the entire thing. Gang of Africans (shock), think they can intimidate and do what they want without consequence.” The incident at Aquapulse has ignited a broader conversation about public perceptions and opinions regarding law enforcement practices.

In addition to the physical altercation, police officers also allegedly threatened a woman with arrest, accusing her of loitering in the area and waiting for a staff member. The situation unfolded amid tensions and concerns about the police response.
