Police are investigating an attempted home invasion in Wyndham Vale on 27 December.
Officers were told offenders attempted to break into a home on Wentworth Avenue about 9.30pm.
The victim ran from the house and called triple zero (000) but the offenders had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
No one was injured during the incident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
It’s believed parties are known to each other and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
