The Collision
Police are investigating a collision between a black Lexus and a police vehicle in Tarneit yesterday afternoon.
It is understood the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Leakes Road and Derrimut Road about 4.30pm.
The passenger of the police vehicle was transported to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the police vehicle was not injured.
The driver of the black Lexus was also not injured and stopped at the scene.
Debris across intersection, Lexus off the road
The Lexus came to rest several metres down Leakes Road on vacant land following the collision. Debris from the crash was scattered across the intersection.
A male was seen sitting on the traffic island near the scene. It is not clear if he was the driver of the Lexus.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
