Construction on Presidents Park upgrades in Wyndham is complete, delivering new walking paths, a park road and picnic facilities to improve access and support growing community use.
Reserve Gets Major Upgrade
Construction on a series of upgrades at Presidents Park in Wyndham Vale is now complete, following a $1.8 million project supported by a $320,000 Growing Suburbs Fund grant.
The works include a new internal park road aimed at improving vehicle access during large events, additional walking paths, and a new sheltered picnic area for visitors.
Further tree planting is scheduled for later this year during the planting season.
The improvements form part of the long-term Presidents Park Master Plan, which outlines staged upgrades as the surrounding population grows.
For residents and families, the changes mean easier access during busy events, more connected walking routes through the park, and additional covered space for gatherings. The upgrades are also expected to support larger community events by improving traffic flow and on-site movement.
Presidents Park remains one of Wyndham’s most frequently used open spaces, hosting major events as well as day-to-day recreation including walking, sport and family outings.
More information about other capital works projects across the municipality is available via Council’s online dashboard.
