Some locals are calling for local shopping centre Pacific Werribee to be closed.
A Woolworths staff member tested positive recently and last worked at the store on the 4th of July.
A staff member at Donut King who tested positive last worked on July the 1st before being tested positive.
With the large numbers reported as being at the shopping centre and the new cases climbing, residents are concerned.
Some have taken to social media to vent their frustration at the centre still being open.
One person said “Just close the plaza completely for a full deep clean of everything! I know that the cleaning staff have been doing the best they can, but they need all the help they can get right now!”
And, “Seriously the manager of pacific Werribee what are you doing organise for the plaza to close !!!! There is already 2 cases !!!”
