Now Open To Public

Hoppers Crossing’s Rosslare Court Reserve has received a $471,000 upgrade, with new sporting and fitness facilities now open to the public.

Wyndham City has completed the second stage of works at the reserve, adding a large open lawn area, half multi-sport court, outdoor fitness equipment and additional landscaping.

The latest works follow the first stage of the reserve upgrade completed in 2024, which delivered a district-level playground, picnic areas, a public toilet and improvements to on-street parking.

Together, the two stages have expanded the range of facilities available at the reserve, with spaces for children, families and residents looking to exercise or play sport.

Wyndham City Mayor Mia Shaw said the latest additions provided more ways for locals to use the reserve.

“Whether it’s children enjoying the playground, friends having a game on the multi-sport court or families simply relaxing on the open lawn, these additions provide more opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors, close to home,” Cr Shaw said.

Further changes are still planned for Rosslare Court Reserve, with construction of a wetland expected to begin later in 2026.

The works form part of Wyndham City’s ongoing program of upgrades to parks and open spaces across the municipality.
