On Australia Day, the Roulettes, an elite aerobatic display group of the Royal Australian Airforce, will fly over Melbourne.
The Roulettes had their first public display at RAAF Base Point Cook in 1970 and as part of their 2023 display for Australia Day they will be over the Melbourne CBD at 12.15pm followed by the Geelong waterfront at 3.00pm.
During their transit back to East Sale they will be flying low level over the Port Phillip Bay coastline which includes Werribee South at 3.19pm, so if you’d like to catch a glimpse of them that is the place to be!
The Roulettes took to social media yesterday to thank their out going members, Roulette Two FLTLT Ben Ness (Nessy – pictured cerntre ) and Roulette Five FLTLT Dan Barclay (Trippa – pictured third from left).
Timings are always approximate and subject to fuel/weather/traffic and ATC constraints.
