Driver of SUV Injured, Investigations Underway
Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision on Geelong Road Princes Highway in Werribee earlier today, May 26. Reports indicate that a truck and an SUV were involved in the accident, which occurred shortly before 9 am.
The driver of the SUV, identified as a 49-year-old woman from Werribee, sustained injuries to her chest and pelvis as a result of the collision. She was promptly attended to by medical professionals and subsequently transported to the Royal Melbourne Hospital via road ambulance. Although her condition is described as serious, it is currently stable.
Fortunately, the driver of the truck, a 60-year-old man from Caroline Springs, emerged from the incident unharmed. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities during their investigation.

At present, investigations into the collision are still ongoing as authorities seek to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police are appealing to any individuals who may have witnessed the collision or possess dash cam/CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
