A motorcycle and car have been involved in a serious crash on the corner of Ballan Road and McGrath Road, in Wyndham Vale.
The incident occurred around 12.30am on Saturday the 18th of March. Emergency services were quick to respond to the scene and found the rider of the motorbike lying on the ground, surrounded by debris.
A man believed to be in his 40s was treated for a leg injury and taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the car was uninjured and is assisting police with their investigations. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
This is the latest in a series of serious accidents in the area, and local police are urging drivers to take extra caution when travelling through the area.
