A 17-year-old boy was arrested, interviewed by detectives, and charged with murder, aggravated home invasion, kidnapping, and criminal damage by fire (arson). He appeared before a children’s court on Tuesday, 9 June.
The charges stem from the alleged kidnapping of a 30-year-old man from a Darius Terrace address in South Morang about 3am on Friday, 15 May 2026. It is further alleged that the vehicle used in the incident was set alight on Mt Mary Road in Eynesbury later that same morning.
