Free Men's Health Program on Offer
Wyndham City is encouraging men across Melbourne’s west to take charge of their health, with registrations open for a free 10-week wellbeing program designed to improve both physical and mental fitness.
The Sons of the West program will run weekly at Eagle Stadium in Werribee from 22 April to 24 June 2026, giving local men the chance to build healthier habits, learn new skills and connect with others in the community.
Delivered in partnership with the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation and Western Leisure Services, the program takes a practical approach to men’s health through a mix of workshops, group exercise sessions and guest presentations.
Sessions run every Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and are designed to be highly interactive, covering topics that affect everyday life including fitness, nutrition, mental wellbeing and family health.
Organisers say the program is open to men aged 18 and over who live or work in Melbourne’s western suburbs, regardless of their current fitness level.
Participants will take part in group activities aimed at making exercise approachable and enjoyable, while also learning simple strategies to improve overall wellbeing.
The initiative is funded by Wyndham City Council and aims to give local men practical tools to improve their health while building new friendships and support networks along the way.
Places in the program are limited and interested participants are encouraged to register early.
