This incident occurred earlier this week when the victim, along with a 39-year-old man from Greenvale, were engaged in a conversation within a store located on Paisley Street. The incident took place at approximately 4:45 pm on Monday, October 9.

During this exchange, an unidentified man approached them. Without any apparent provocation, the man drew a knife from his jacket and proceeded to stab both victims. Subsequently, the assailant quickly fled the scene on foot.

The second victim from Greenvale received on-site treatment for minor injuries. In an effort to identify and locate the suspect, investigators have made available images and CCTV footage of a person they believe could provide crucial information.

This individual is described as being in his twenties, standing at approximately 175cm in height, with dark-coloured hair styled in dreadlocks. He was observed wearing a dark baseball cap with white lettering, a denim jacket over a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark-coloured pants, white shoes, and carrying a dark bag.
