
Emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing in Hoppers Crossing on Wednesday, 14 September.
Investigators have been told two males were involved in an altercation on Heaths Road around 7pm.
It is believed one of the males was stabbed in the lower body.
He has been taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The other male ran from the scene.
Witnesses told Wyndham TV that police had blocked off the bus stop area at Werribee Plaza and that ambulance was also in attendance.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing, however at his stage police believe the males are known to each other.
