
Police have arrested a man after tracking a vehicle with allegedly stolen plates in Truganina on Wednesday, 23 November.
A Toyota Corolla sedan was spotted by Police Air Wing on Old Geelong Road about 1pm.
The driver allegedly dumped the vehicle outside an address on Rockgarden Drive and ran into an apartment building.
Police cordoned off the area and also located an Audi with allegedly false plates outside the same apartment.
A 26-year-old Point Cook man was arrested at the scene.
He’s been charged with theft of motor vehicle, drug and driving related offences and is appearing at Werribee Magistrates’ Court today.
A 41-year-old Tarneit man was arrested inside the property and charged with handle stolen goods.
He was bailed to appear at Werribee Magistrates’ Court on 1 May 2023.
