Responding to concerned citizens’ calls, police officers pursued the vehicle, which was being driven erratically and at a high speed. The pursuit led to Loxton Street, where the occupants abandoned the car and attempted to flee on foot.
Police swiftly apprehended the pair near nearby properties. The 26-year-old man from Tarneit appeared to be injured and was taken by ambulance under police guard. A 28-year-old woman from
Point Cook was also arrested. Fortunately, no one else was harmed during the incident.
The impounded vehicle is now in police custody. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers as the investigation continues. Both individuals are currently assisting the police with their inquiries.
