
Six teens have been arrested after being tracked by the police Air Wing in an allegedly stolen car taken during a burglary in Point Cook yesterday.
The chopper spotted a Holden Barina sedan driving at a fast rate of speed on Robbs Road about 4am.
The Holden entered Crawfords Road in Werribee South and hit a dead end before getting bogged in mud.
Six teens ran from the vehicle and hid in a paddock behind dense shrubs.
While the Air Wing kept observation, ground units swooped in and arrested the group.
It’s alleged the vehicle was stolen during a burglary in Teneriffle Street hours earlier.
A 14-year-old Manor Lakes girl, a 14-year-old Point Cook boy, a 15-year-old Seabrook boy, a 15-year-old Point Cook boy and a 14-year-old Point Cook boy have been released pending further enquiries.
A 15-year-old Wyndham Vale boy is expected to be summonsed to a children’s court at a later date.
