
Police are currently conducting an investigation into a robbery and assault incident that took place in Point Cook on September 12th. According to reports, a 16-year-old boy was walking near a cluster of shops situated at Tribeca Village on Saltwater Promenade around 3:35 pm when he was approached by a group of six to eight teenagers.
The teenagers allegedly demanded the boy’s phone and physically assaulted him near the public toilets before making their escape on foot. In an effort to locate the suspects, the police conducted a search of a bus further down Saltwater Promenade near Miami Drive, but no arrests were made at that time.
The victim, a 16-year-old, sustained serious injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital for medical attention. It is believed that there is a pre-existing connection between the involved parties.
