The incident occurred around 3:30 PM at a property near the intersection of Dohertys Road and Dukelow Road, where the young man reportedly lost control of his motorbike and plunged down a steep embankment.

Emergency services, including police, ambulance, and the State Emergency Service (SES), were swiftly dispatched to the scene to aid in the rescue operation. Upon arrival, paramedics attended to the injured rider, stabilising him while they awaited the arrival of a 4WD ambulance capable of navigating the difficult terrain.

The rescue team successfully extricated the teenager at approximately 4:35 PM. Following the rescue, he was breathalysed at the scene before being transferred to a road ambulance. He was then taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition.
