The car was first spotted driving erratically in Fraser Rise around 10.50am before it was tracked to Minindee Road in Manor Lakes. After being abandoned, the vehicle’s five occupants fled into the grounds of a nearby school, later confirmed to be Manor Lakes College.

As a precaution, the school was placed into lockdown while police, including the Air Wing and Critical Incident Response Team, responded. Three of the offenders were quickly taken into custody, while police continue to search for the remaining two.

Concerned parents have taken to social media, frustrated by what they describe as a lack of communication from the school during the incident. One parent said, “We had no idea what was going on. We just wanted to know our kids were safe.”

The lockdown has since been lifted, and police are calling for anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage, or information to come forward.
