Library services and programs to continue in a smaller temporary space during construction
Due to necessary construction work at Pacific Werribee in Hoppers Crossing, the library will be temporarily closed starting from June 26. However, it will be relocated to a smaller temporary space on level 1 at Pacific Werribee, near Village Cinemas and Myer, until early 2024. The temporary space is expected to be open to the public on July 10.
According to Councillor Jasmine Hill, the portfolio holder for Wyndham City Learning City, the temporary space will offer the usual services provided by the library, including a small collection of books and other library items, study tables, public computers, and a reading nook. Additionally, a limited number of programs will be held in the temporary space.

During this construction period, patrons can still place items on hold and retrieve them from one of Wyndham City’s other five library locations. They can also access a wide range of free resources such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, movies, TV shows, and other online materials through Wyndham’s eLibrary.
Wyndham City plans to seize this opportunity to enhance the beloved library by adding two new community rooms. These improvements will be funded through a Living Libraries Grant provided by the Victorian Government.
