Back in June of this year, Wyndham City Council announced that they would be installing temporary alfresco seating areas in Werribee and Hoppers Junction.
They were up temporarily, then stage 3 restrictions hit forcing the council to put the ‘parklets’ into storage.
Some residents loved the idea of the parklets but others complained about the reduction of parking spaces they caused along Watton Street.
Council sent a tweet today advising that this (Hoppers Crossing) is one of the first installs and promised a ‘summer of dining like no other!’
