Emergency Crews Discover Body in Burnt-Out Caravan at Honey Hush Caravan Park, Investigation Underway

A tragic incident occurred at the Honey Hush Caravan Park in Laverton North, where one person died in a fire.

Fire crews responded to an emergency call at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday night, reporting a caravan fully engulfed in flames at the park located on Leaks Road. Upon arrival, firefighters battled the blaze and successfully extinguished it. Unfortunately, a body was discovered inside the burnt-out caravan.

Authorities have yet to formally identify the deceased, and the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation. Police have stated that, at this stage, the fire is not being treated as suspicious.

A crime scene has been established, and both detectives and fire investigators are expected to examine the site throughout Monday. The investigation aims to uncover the circumstances that led to the fatal fire.
