Police are currently looking into the details behind an accident that occurred in Williamstown North during the afternoon.
At around 1.30pm, a vehicle crashed into a stationary truck on Kororoit Creek Road, with the driver of the car, a yet to be identified female, being declared deceased at the scene.
Witnesses at the scene have already been spoken to by police, along with the truck driver, and the inquiry is ongoing.
