The exciting new upgrades to Wyndham City‘s Aquarius Street Reserve in Truganina are now underway, and the project includes a better kick–about space, expanded and improved paths, BBQs, new furniture, bike hoops, toilets, nature play areas, rubber soft fall areas in the playground, and more garden beds and trees.
Councillor Peter Maynard, who is in charge of the Active City portfolio, said the changes would make the popular reserve more accessible, efficient, and beautiful. “This upgrade will make Aquarius Street Reserve a higher quality park, which can be enjoyed by the entire Wyndham community, not just Truganina residents,” Maynard said. “By upgrading the existing infrastructure and adding new features, we hope people will stay longer when they visit.”
Wyndham City continues to upgrade its open spaces so that the community has great parks and playgrounds nearby.
The work is expected to be finished by mid–2023.
