26-Year-Old Faces Legal Woes After Violating License Suspension

In an incident that unfolded on September 10th in Werribee, a 26-year-old Truganina man found himself facing serious consequences after driving while his license was disqualified.

The Werribee Police were alerted to the situation when they received a welfare check request regarding the occupants of a grey Volvo sedan at the intersection of Cottrell Street and Greaves Street, shortly after 1 pm.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a female in her 20s who was transported to the Werribee Mercy Hospital due to suspected substance abuse.

Meanwhile, a male passenger in the front seat, who had briefly lost consciousness, was assessed by paramedics but remained on-site.

After extensive questioning, the police conducted a thorough search of the vehicle, leading to the driver’s vehicle being impounded for 30 days.

The driver is now expected to face charges for driving while disqualified and using an unregistered motor vehicle, adding to the list of legal troubles stemming from this incident.
