VIDEO: Car Chase Ends in Mayhem.

Two males have been arrested after a stolen car was sighted by police in Tarneit this afternoon (17 August).

Investigators were told a white Mazda allegedly bearing stolen number plates drove along several local roads including North Point Cook Road, Sneydes Road and Boardwalk Boulevard before driving on the wrong side of Morris Road about 3.55pm.

Police and Airwing followed the car before it allegedly collided with a stationary car at the intersection of Sayers Road.

The female driver of the car received minor injuries and received medical treatment at the scene.

Two males ran from the allegedly stolen car on Morris Road before officers gave chase and arrested them shortly after. 

A 23-year-old man of no fixed address and a 25-year-old Glenroy man are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
