If you’ve been trying to order from Uber Eats today you may find that the system is offering a ‘pick it up’ option only.
According to a local source in Tarneit, businesses have not been notified that customers cannot order deliveries on the online delivery platform.
Local businesses have contacted Uber Eats and have been told that drivers have been taken off the road for “their own safety” due to the weather conditions.
The service has been down since Friday morning, 14th October.
Uber drivers were also not notified of the change and have been waiting for jobs online.
There is no information as to when the delivery service will be available.
Door Dash and Menu Log are still delivering.
