On May 24th at 8:40am, police detected a vehicle travelling at 60kmp/h in a 40kmp/h school zone along Dunnings Road in Point Cook.
Police intercepted the man, a 37-year-old from Point Cook, and found the man held a learner’s permit.
Further, the man was also found to have an unrestrained child in the backseat.
The vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1006.10. The driver is expected to be charged with Exceeding Speed Limit, Driving Learner Unaccompanied, Failing to Display L Plates and Driving with an unrestrained child.
