Teenager last seen heading to school; family and police deeply concerned for his safety.
The family of 16-year-old Krishank “Krish” Karthik is desperately seeking help to locate him after he was last seen on Freemont Court in Truganina on 5 August. Krishank, a Year 11 student at Suzanne Cory High School, left for school at 7:46 am but never arrived.
Krishank is 5 foot 10 inches and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black track pants, black shoes, and black Armani glasses. The family is particularly worried as this behaviour is highly unusual for him.
It is believed Krishank may have travelled to the North Melbourne area. Police are concerned for his welfare, noting that this is out of character for him.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Werribee Police Station at (03) 9742 9444 or his family directly on 0432 726 428, 0431 697 720, or 0451 280 658.
Krishank’s mother, Shobana Karthik, expressed the family’s deep distress: “Krish, come back home, baba. We want you to be safe. Please come back, my baby. You know we can’t live without you, you are our lifeline. This house will come to a stop without you.”
A friend of the family mentioned that Krishank’s iPhone is switched off, and there were two transactions at Melbourne Central yesterday. Krishank has now been missing for over 24 hours.
The community is asked to share any information that might help bring Krishank home safely.
