Driver Rescued After Collision on Sanctuary Lakes North Boulevard
A vehicle collision on Sanctuary Lakes North Boulevard near Broadbeach Circuit in Point Cook unfolded this evening 14/11/2023 at around 10:20 PM, resulting in a rapid response from emergency services. The incident involved a male driver believed to be in his 40’s who was trapped inside the vehicle.
Local residents gathered around as emergency services swiftly arrived on the scene. The vehicle, which had landed on its side, prompted a quick and coordinated effort to secure the area and assess the situation. The driver, still inside the black Jeep wagon, was efficiently freed after emergency personnel cut off the roof.
The man, after being assisted to stand, was then placed on an ambulance stretcher and transported to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition. Reports indicate that the driver’s vehicle collided with a tree on the left side of the road before hitting trees on the opposite side.
