VIDEO: Air Ambulance Rescue. Two Seriously Injured.

Police are investigating a single-car rollover in Werribee early this morning that resulted in a large scale rescue.

It is believed a white Aurion rolled on Bulban Road near McGrath Road at 12.30 am (28th of January) trapping both occupants.

The vehicle came to rest near railway lines causing trains to be stopped and there were hectic scenes as a swarm of emergency services quickly worked to extract the victims of the accident.

The Victoria Police Airwing and the Air Ambulance hovered over the skies before the Air Ambulance descended in a well-coordinated rescue attempt.

The driver and passenger have been taken to hospital and both have serious injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
